What’s worse is when restaurants use kaiser-style buns that aren’t soft enough, so the burger slips off the bun when you bite into it. A bad bread to burger ratio in any direction can ruin the experience. What really ruins a good burger for me is when the bun selection is wrong. Ellwood Thompson’s makes the buns specially for Burger Bach and delivers them fresh every morning. I’m usually not a ketchup fan, but their organic tomato ketchup was actually quite good. I’m absolutely in love with it and I want to smother everything I eat with it now. The fries were the perfect amount of crispiness with a nice soft inside and were not over-salted. They were good the first time I tried them, but this time they were superb. I have to say, since my first sampling of Burger Bach, they have definitely improved the fries and sauces.

We went with the Organic Tomato Ketchup and Chipotle BBQ. The dipping sauce options are: Organic Tomato Ketchup, Spicy Dijon, Jalapeno Remoulade, Tzatziki Sauce, Original Sauce, Garlic Aioli, Chipotle BBQ sauce, Cilantro sauce, Free Range Egg Mayonnaise, and Roaster Onion Dip. The small order is $2 and comes with your choice of one dipping sauce, the large order is $5 and you get two dipping sauces, additional sauces are $1. We opted for a large order of fries to share among the three of us. He did his job the entire time with a smile, which was very welcoming and made the dining experience comfortable. Our server, Austin (who turned out to be a brother of the same fraternity as me from another school) was quick and courteous.
